  • ‑ During the initial consultation visit, a brief medical history and assessment of movement, circulation, and sensation will be taken. The following will take place at both initial and follow-up visits:

    • Assessment of skin and nails

    • Cleaning, trimming, and filing of toenails

    • Management of any calluses or corns as needed

    • Moisturizing foot massage (optional)

    • Recommendations for ongoing foot health management as needed.

    • Schedule next appointment (optional)

  • ‑ We prefer cash or check. We do accept HSA/FSA and credit cards. We do NOT take private insurance or Medicare.

  • ‑ Yes. We can mechanically thin thickened nails to improve comfort and appearance. We recommend appointments every 8-12 weeks to manage them effectively.

  • -Soaking beforehand is not recommended because it can ruin our tools and can damage skin providing an access point for infection. We do not soak feet during an appointment.

  • ‑ Please call us at least 48 hours before your scheduled time to cancel or reschedule. A $50 fee may be applied for cancellations within this 48-hour window or for no-shows. We understand emergencies happen, and exceptions may be made for illness or hospitalization.

  • ‑ Yes, we can provide fingernail trimming and filing for an additional charge. Please let us know when booking your appointment if you would like to add this service.

  • No, we do not provide nail polishing services. This ensures we can properly assess the health of the nail itself and avoid trapping moisture, which is essential for senior foot health. Please remove all nail polish before visits.

  • ‑ While we can help manage the thickness of nails affected by fungus, we cannot diagnose medical conditions. We may recommend when to see a podiatrist for further evaluation and treatment of a suspected fungal infection.
